As playback continues and changes to effects/models at the GT-Ġ01 are made, you should immediately hear the changes. You should now hear the wet guitar signal as the dry signal is being routed back out This will make it easier to preview the REAMP signal as you makeĬlick the ROUTE button for DRY and add SECONDARY/SECONDARY(R) as a new hardware outputĪrm REAMP for recording and enable Record Monitoring. DRY shouldĬontain a recording with none of the selected effects/models applied (dry). WET should now contain a recording of the guitar with all effects/models applied (wet). Unarm and select None as the input for both WET and DRY. Select your desiredĮffects and/or models in the GT-001, start recording and wail away until you're tired. Make sure tracks WET and DRY are armed for recording and neither is SOLO'd. YouĬan't continue until you are able to record a dry track from the GT-001. If you don't hear the expected results at this point, go back and carefully verify your settings. You should hear the guitar thru your monitoring SOLO WET and play your guitar thru the GT-001. Name this track 'REAMP'.Īrm both WET and DRY for recording and enable Record Monitoring for both. ![]() Insert a third audio track and set the input to None. Insert a second audio track and set the input to SECONDARY+SECONDARY(R). Insert a new audio track and set the input to PRIMARY+PRIMARY(R). Start a new project and verify that Master is routed to hardware output PRIMARY/PRIMARY (R). Select the GT-001 as the audio interface for Reaper as shown in Figure 1. Select SYSTEM, USB, PRIMARY and toggle DIR.MON to The guitar input + effects/models from being passed direct to the audio outputs. In order to fullyĬontrol monitoring with Reaper, Direct Monitoring needs to be turned off in the GT-001. Make the GT-001 USB and audio output connections as appropriate for your system. Get Your Hardware Connected and Configured Reamping with Reaper and the GT-001 or GT-100 Here's a link to a quick doc I put in the Reaper stash for reamping with the GT-001 in Reaper. Perhaps you already understood this and you don't know how to accomplish this. In that case: do record the pre recorded dry track on a new track, and experiment with patches/settings while recording and when you have a sound you like: delete the recording and start to record from starting point with the nice patch/setting. Perhaps you only hear the not-dry signal only when you actually record. The basic idea is : dry play via GT100, and record back from the GT100. Hope it is a correct short manual, cause I haven't recorded anything the past weeks. Press play on that track, and record it on the new track. When you like what you hear, go back to the beginning of the dry track. Change presets on the GT100 itself or via the Boss software (does what you hear change?) (Don't forget to mute the previously recorded not-dry track). Some tips: create a new track, put record button on, but don't record yet. (I wrote this from the perspective of my GT100). And I have a GT100, but I guess it works the same as the GT001. Well I don't use Pro Logic but I use another DAW. When I record with this setup I do get the dry guitar on track 2 but I have no idea where to go from there to reamp or change effects. Quote from: aliendough on November 15, 2015, 11:20:23 AM ![]()
